Do I need to book?

Who is the event for?

This event is for you if you are thinking of starting a course in September, or an adult looking to retrain for a new career and think that you can’t afford to come back to College.  

What kind of funding may be available to support me in my studies?

We have several College funds that can help you pay for transport costs, childcare, and learning materials depending on your particular course.

Can I apply for an Advanced Learner Loan or a Higher Education Loan at the event?

Yes, we have facilities at the event to allow you to apply online for any applicable loans and grants.

Do I need to bring anything with me?

If you wish to apply for an Advanced Learner Loan or Higher Education Loans and Grants please bring your valid UK / EU passport (if you have one) and your National Insurance Number.

Will there really be tea and biscuits?

Yes we have already ordered the tea and coffee along with a selection of assorted luxury pre packed biscuits, including choc chip, shortbread, butterscotch crunch, whirls and choc chip brownies for you to enjoy while you chat to our specialist staff!  

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

We have free onsite parking for over 300 cars and disabled parking is at the front of the college.
