Accountancy - Case Studies
Shannon Brennan having completed her warehousing apprenticeship at PRM Newage Ltd progressed to the accounts office and she is now studying for a level 2 Accountancy apprenticeship.
Shannon says “an apprenticeship is the best thing to do as you get paid for learning and you gain experience and qualifications at the same time. It has helped me to work towards a career in accounts.”
Kirshen Parshad started his career in accountancy after studying Avionic Technology for two years at university and then deciding that he wanted to go out to work instead. He applied for an Accountancy apprenticeship in the payroll department at Coventry City Council and started on level two and is just about to finish his level three.
Kirshen says “I saw an apprenticeship as a good opportunity to progress and It’s a good transition into the working world. If you enjoy maths I would recommend you just go for it.”
