Sam completes Level 5 Management course which supported her new job role
Samantha Gill is the Sports and Societies Manager at Coventry University Students Union. When she was newly promoted to a managerial position she decided to enrol on a Level 5 Management course at Henley College to learn new skills to help her in her job.
Samantha worked closely with her assessor who she describes as “absolutely fantastic”
Sally had been a manager for 20 years at Ryton Organic Gardens but had no management qualifications so she decided to enrol on the NVQ Level 5 Management course with Henley College as several of the senior management team we doing it at the same time.
Sally said “while I was doing the course it enabled me step back, look and reflect on my own management style. It has also made me more conscious of how my decisions affect other people and it has helped me to delegate work more."
