Natasha Wilkins needs maths to go to University
Natasha Wilkins has a foundation degree in Mental Health but she needs her maths GCSE to progress to University and study to be a nurse. She enrolled on an entry three functional maths course at Henley and she has already progressed to level one so she is well on her way!
Natasha says “The functional skills course relates maths to everyday life and it is in steps so it is easier to understand. This week we have been doing fractions and relating it to pizza slices. Hina is an awesome tutor and explains everything. I have never understood maths but since I have been coming to Henley I have been able to help with my daughter’s maths homework! I am glad I have started as I was scared at first but once you know why you are studying and have a goal in mind just go for it and you will have maths skills for life.”
